For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.

お釘がへれば、蹄鉄うせる。
蹄鉄へれば、おうまがうせる。
おうまがへれば、のりてがうせる。
のりてがへれば、戦がうせる。
戦がないと、王さまのお国ゃうせる。
おうまの蹄鉄がへったせいでよ。
