Here's the church and here's the steeple.
Open the door and see all the people.
Here's the parson going upstairs.
And here he is saying his prayers.

ドアを開けると、人々が見える。

階段を上っていく牧師様。

お祈りを口にしていらっしゃる。

指遊びのライム、子供たちの大好きなライムです。ライムと言葉が、指遊びと組み合わさっているから子供をひきつけるのでしょう。この遊びは指の器用さと、子供の想像力を育むものです。教会の塔が空を背景にして浮かび上がったシルエット、そんな光景を想像してみてください。

１　Here's the church

左右の手を親指以外両手の指を手のひら側に組み合わせ、両手を合わせる。親指だけは組み合わせず上に向ける。

and here's the steeple.

人差し指も上に向け塔を作る。

Open the door

指を組んだまま両手を広げる。

and see all the people.

指先は民衆。組んでいる指先を動かす。

Here's the parson going upstairs.

左手の手のひらを上に向けて、指の階段を作り、右手の親指と人差し指で階段を上がっていく。

And here he is saying his prayers.

両手を合わせてお祈りします。
