When I was a little boy

When I was a little boy,
I washed my Mother's dishes.
I put my finger in my ear,
And pulled out little fishes.
 
My Mother called me, "Good Boy",
And bid me to pull out more.
I put my finger in my ear,
And pulled out fourscore.

僕が子供だったとき

お母さんのお皿を洗ってあげた。

僕は指を耳の中に入れて、

小さな魚を引っ張り出した。

お母さんは僕を「いい子」と呼んだ。

もっと魚を出すように言った。
